Tell us a bit about your restaurant:
Smokey Moo is a specialty smoked beef licensed restaurant. Nothing to hide here - we have an open kitchen and carve our delicious meat in front of our customers. And no one goes home hungry from Smokey Moo!

What is your position and how big is your team?
I am the Head Chef/Owner of Smokey Moo and my team has 12 staff members, covering the kitchen and front of house.

What is your favourite menu item and why?
I love meat!! So, I love all of our dishes. If I must choose just one, I would have to say our house specialty Dirty Dozen - our customers go crazy for it! It has all four of our specialty beef cuts - brisket, pastrami, beef cheeks and ribs. Mmmm.

What is the best part about your job?
Seeing my customers smile and enjoying my food.

When you are not working, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Running a busy restaurant does not give a lot of time for me but first and foremost, I am a family man, so spending as much time as I can with my beautiful wife and children. Oh, and I love fishing!

What makes Gasworks Plaza a great part of the community?
It is a vibrant hub of Brisbane, attracting families and people of all ages for simply great food and enjoyment.
